Postage and packing
We charge a standard £4 per order for postage and packing to an address in the United Kingdom. So, if you order several books you will still only be charged £4 for the postage and packing. All our books are sent through Royal Mail or ParcelForce.
For postage and packing to an address outside the United Kingdom, please contact us for a quote. The price will include all our postage, packing, and handling charges. We are not, however, responsible for any additional charges that may be levied by authorities in the country of destination.
Payment
All payment is through our PayPal account. Please note that this will be to Lomax Press Limited, who own Starling Books.
You can pay the invoice with a credit or debit card if you do not have a PayPal account.
Dispatch
Once we have received your cleared funds, we will normally send the order the next working day (Monday, if ordered on Friday or Saturday). If we are unable to do this, for instance as a consequence of illness or very bad weather, we will advise you by e-mail. We will send more expensive items using Royal Mail Signed For, at our own cost.
All books are dispatched in a cardboard book mailer or cardboard box.
All dust-wrappers are supplied in removable and inert protective film.
